TWILIGHT
The summer
camp based on
the novel series
Twilight
!
This was a very labor-intensive camp!  Campers
chose their favorite character and made a
collaged, bottle cap choker.  Inside each bottle
cap was a hand- drawn background topped with
a word describing their character.  Later, beads
and glitter were added.

The choker on the right represents Bella and her
two loves, Edward and Jacob.  Note that the
center cap is Bella (between love) while the caps
on the left represent Jacob (hot dog, and man
heat).  Finally, on the right are Edward's bottle
caps!  I thought this was a very clever piece.

Next, students constructed shadow boxes
of a scene from the movie.  They used
papier mache, wood, paint, and sticks to
construct the scene.  Their photos were
added along with characters of the movie,
putting them right into the scene!

Lastly, students made papier mache
masks based on the Twilight books.
Some were characters, some were half
werewolf - half vampire...very creative!
